Field Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Cisco Meraki solutions

• Provide network engineering assistance across various environments

• Manage development, testing, and production servers

• Install, remove, and upgrade software applications

• Monitor network systems and resolve functionality, connectivity, and load-balancing challenges

• Contribute to network architecture, performance tuning, and optimization

• Analyze and suggest hardware and software options

• Deliver hands-on support, troubleshooting, and technical advice

• Identify and rectify operational issues through data analysis

• Plan, research, document, and propose infrastructure implementations

• Design and perform hardware and software performance, stress, and load tests

• Develop automation solutions using scripting technologies

• Conduct routine security scans and assessments

• Investigate emerging technologies, products, and technical information

• Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Cisco Meraki network solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and infrastructure management

• Experience with scripting and automation for enhanced network performance

• Capability to analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions

• Proven experience in Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting

• Willingness to cover locations including Woking, Guildford, and areas outside the M25 south/SW London
