Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, enhance, and sustain CI/CD pipelines to ensure dependable and repeatable software deployments.

• Architect, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

• Develop and manage infrastructure utilizing Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Deploy, administer, and optimize containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure, configuration, application deployment, and management of environments.

• Ensure uniformity across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance enhancement across cloud infrastructure and applications.

• Diagnose issues related to deployment, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and pipelines.

• Support initiatives related to scalability, availability, security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.

• Integrate security measures and automated controls within infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

• Provide technical advice while actively engaging in hands-on engineering and delivery tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.

• Significant practical experience working within Microsoft Azure environments.

• Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments.

• Expert knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Strong background in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Docker and container deployment processes.

• Proficient scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.

• Experience in cloud monitoring, observability, logging, and troubleshooting.

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, scalability, and high availability.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a senior technical role.

• Previous experience as a technical lead is advantageous, but candidates should remain highly engaged in hands-on activities.

• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada; Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a Valid Work Permit is required.
