Senior Aviation Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop engineering projects related to airports, such as runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids.

• Create engineering design reports, construction plans, contract documents, and technical specifications.

• Potentially design general civil engineering projects, including site design, sanitary wastewater, water systems, and hydraulic evaluations.

• Oversee the coordination of various project tasks.

• Participate in and direct initiatives in airport design practices.

• Work collaboratively with technical specialists throughout North America and globally.

• Provide transportation and infrastructure solutions for both public and private sector clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) designation is preferred.

• Over 8 years of experience in the civil engineering industry.

• Experience in aviation and familiarity with FAA criteria is advantageous.

• Capacity to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.

• Self-driven and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Oriented towards achieving goals and meeting deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Successful completion of pre-employment screening is mandatory, including validation of SSN/SIN, motor vehicle records, educational credentials, employment history, criminal background check, global sanctions and government watch-list search, and drug testing.
