Senior Automation Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Strategize, develop, implement, and consistently deliver technical support operations for ICT users and infrastructure services.

• Create, maintain, and improve scripts, routines, and automation tools for operational tasks, including provisioning, deployments, configurations, and backups.

• Establish and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Utilize configuration management tools to standardize environments, ensuring consistency and traceability.

• Manage and automate containerized environments employing Docker, Kubernetes, and associated tools.

• Streamline the creation, configuration, scaling, and management of both on-premises and/or cloud-based servers, clusters, and infrastructure resources.

• Oversee and enhance DevOps platforms.

• Monitor performance across environments and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and cost reduction.

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in production environments, aiming to prevent recurrence and minimize impact.

• Establish and maintain observability, monitoring, logging, and metrics practices.

• Ensure security within the environment through access controls, encryption, credential management, and security policies.

• Conduct testing and validation of solutions.

• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams.

• Foster a culture centered on automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

• Prepare and maintain current technical documentation.

• Engage in defining architectures and automation strategies for modernization and digital transformation.

• Assess and implement new tools and technologies.

• Support governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline.

• Established experience in critical, high-availability corporate environments.

• Proven ability to collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in automating infrastructure using Ansible and/or Terraform.

• Experience in deploying systems in a scalable and resilient manner utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in developing and executing application migration strategies to Kubernetes.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to infrastructure in Kubernetes environments.

• ITIL 4 training with a minimum of 12 hours.

• Official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or advanced.

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.

• Completion of the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) course or an equivalent program.

• Completion of the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) course or an equivalent program.

• Extensive experience with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, observability, and information security.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, automation tools, configuration management, and agile methodologies is considered advantageous.
