Senior Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct risk-focused internal audit engagements across operational, financial, compliance, and strategic domains.

• Develop plans, define scope, execute fieldwork, and report on audit assignments.

• Engage in External Audit Direct Assist tasks, which include testing and performing inventory counts.

• Travel to production and distribution locations as required.

• Utilize knowledge in risk assessment, accounting, finance, IT, and operations to pinpoint control weaknesses and opportunities for process enhancement.

• Analyze data and derive insights using AI and analytics methods to uncover trends, patterns, and irregularities.

• Create audit reports and communicate findings, root causes, risks, and recommendations to senior management.

• Oversee the implementation of action plans and offer guidance for timely resolutions.

• Foster relationships and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Remain informed about industry best practices, regulatory obligations, and emerging risks.

• Improve audit methodologies, tools, techniques, and AI-driven audit solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in internal audit or risk advisory services.

• Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

• CIA, CPA, CMA, or CISA certifications are preferred.

• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment techniques, and auditing standards.

• Practical experience with AI and data analytics in auditing, or a clear interest in advancing skills in this area.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of simplifying complex subjects into concise reports.

• Highly organized and focused on meeting deadlines.

• Comfortable handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 15% of the time.
