Field Auditor/Investigator II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute routine and unbiased audits/investigations from initiation to conclusion regarding allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse.

• Gather and evaluate data and information to determine the validity of allegations.

• Examine documentation and conduct interviews with witnesses, claimants, and other relevant parties.

• Recognize opportunities to proactively address fraud, waste, and abuse.

• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, escalating issues as necessary.

• Organize records meticulously and document all findings comprehensively.

• Develop recommendations for management along with detailed reports for legal or audit/investigative purposes.

• Relay findings, updates, and expectations to customers, claimants, and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate processing in line with legal and regulatory standards.

• Aid in the training and support of fellow auditors/investigators.

• Plan and organize personal workload while collaborating with a manager to prioritize projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required (can be replaced with equivalent experience).

• 2–4 years of professional experience is required; 5–7 years is preferred (experience can substitute for education).

• A private investigator license is required by the customer.

• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings is necessary.

• Proficient in collecting and analyzing data and documentation related to allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse.

• Capable of conducting interviews and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and policies.

• Competent in preparing thorough reports for legal or audit/investigative objectives.
