πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Perform regular and unbiased audits/investigations from initiation to completion regarding allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse.

β€’ Gather data and information pertinent to USDA SNAP Retailer investigations.

β€’ Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, escalating audits/investigations when necessary.

β€’ Develop and maintain thorough and organized documentation of audit/investigation results.

β€’ Formulate and execute strategies aimed at identifying and preventing fraudulent activities.

β€’ Conduct interviews with witnesses, claimants, and other relevant parties.

β€’ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective processing of audits/investigations.

β€’ Relay findings to customers, claimants, and stakeholders, managing their expectations and providing updates.

β€’ Offer training and assistance to fellow auditors/investigators.

β€’ Organize and schedule own workload while coordinating with the manager to prioritize tasks.

β€’ Draft detailed reports for legal or audit/investigative purposes.

β€’ Deliver precise recommendations to management for resolution and closure.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory; equivalent experience may be accepted.

β€’ 2–4 years of relevant experience is required; education may be substituted for experience.

β€’ Preference for candidates with 5–7 years of experience.

β€’ A private investigator license is required by the customer.

β€’ Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screenings is necessary.

β€’ Capability to conduct audits/investigations related to allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse.

β€’ Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

β€’ Proficiency in reviewing documentation, interviewing parties involved, analyzing data, and communicating with stakeholders.

β€’ Familiarity with industry regulations, legal obligations, and regulatory standards.
