Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and oversee one or more project workstreams from the initial problem definition to final recommendations.

• Organize complex business challenges, formulate hypotheses, create work plans, and prioritize analyses.

• Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments to evaluate business performance, operational efficiency, growth prospects, profitability drivers, and organizational capabilities.

• Convert analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations suitable for executive presentation.

• Create client deliverables such as presentations, models, and supporting analyses.

• Lead client meetings, workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions.

• Share findings and recommendations with client stakeholders, including senior executives.

• Oversee workstream timelines, risks, and dependencies.

• Mentor and coach junior team members through guidance, feedback, and quality reviews.

• Contribute to business development, proposal creation, thought leadership, and internal firm initiatives.

• Utilize Innosight methodologies and emerging technologies, including generative AI, to enhance analysis, problem-solving, and client impact.

• Assist clients with growth strategies, operational transformation, profitability enhancement, performance improvement, organizational effectiveness, value creation, and business transformation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, operational transformation, business transformation, private equity value creation, leadership as a commissioned military officer, or similar business leadership roles.

• Experience in supporting strategic, operational, and value creation initiatives, including growth strategy, corporate strategy, business transformation, operational enhancement, organizational effectiveness, supply chain and operations, profitability improvement, private equity due diligence, complexity reduction, and related business challenges.

• Proven track record of owning significant workstreams and delivering results in client-facing, high-stakes operational, or mission-critical environments.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and structured problem-solving skills.

• Experience in utilizing generative AI tools and technologies within consulting, analytical, or business contexts.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguous business situations.

• High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with the capability to produce client-ready deliverables.

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Candidates must be open to weekly travel as needed, up to 80%.

• Candidates may reside anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, provided they are near a major airport.
