Inventory Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and support ongoing initiatives aimed at cost savings for the Inventory Management team and the broader Publishing Operations group.

• Assist with innovative inventory programs, such as automated printing and print-on-demand services.

• Oversee daily management of titles at remote locations, including the UK warehouse, utilizing local printing and transfer processes.

• Manage data integration from external vendors into reports and dashboards maintained by the Inventory team.

• Create and uphold operational best practices for the Inventory Management team.

• Consistently update sales and returns status, conduct stock reviews and clean-ups, and report on established KPIs.

• Lead or assist with special projects as necessary.

• Act as the primary contact for Inventory Management on various initiatives and facilitate coordination across multiple teams and departments.

• Evaluate performance metrics against set KPIs.

• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.

• Exceptional analytical abilities; comfortable working with numbers and data.

• Capacity to proactively and creatively approach problem-solving.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with PowerBI and SQL is advantageous but not mandatory.
