This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Perform thorough evaluations of clients' existing advertising technology practices and pinpoint compliance deficiencies concerning privacy regulations.
• Execute modifications in various Ad Tech solutions to implement the compliance strategy effectively.
• Create and apply methodologies that incorporate data protection by design principles within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Formulate and execute methodologies to guide clients on consent models related to cookies, pixels, beacons, and other tracking technologies.
• Establish and implement website scanning strategies and technologies; suggest and execute technical measures that support consent and preference management responsibilities.
• Assist in Privacy Technology implementations, integrations, configurations, privacy by design, SDLC integration, privacy source code analysis, and ensure compliance for websites and applications, along with training and adoption initiatives.
• Design and develop API/system integrations utilizing privacy tools as a principal system architect.
• Monitor and resolve integration challenges to guarantee system reliability and performance.
• Analyze network traffic using advanced network scanning tools.
• Produce documentation that outlines data flows between systems and technologies.
• Support engagements through collaboration with team members, subject matter experts, external legal counsel, and client representatives.
• Generate project status updates, reports, metrics, written analyses, assessments, and presentations.
• Draft and revise policies and procedures that facilitate regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate internal and external team meetings, including client evaluations, presentations, and status updates.
• Manage time and tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Develop standardized metrics, methodologies, and deliverables for client project teams.
• Remain updated on industry trends and best practices in system architecture, automation, and integration.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a strong academic record.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in consulting or industry-specific roles.
• Knowledge and experience in developing and managing essential privacy deliverables, including: Data Inventory, DPIA, PIA, Third-party Risk, Incident Response, Data Subject Access Rights, Tracking Technologies, Consent, Privacy Policy, and VRMs.
• Experience utilizing tag management systems and other marketing tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Understanding of various internet protocol layers, focusing on a comprehensive perspective of network security and performance.
• Extensive knowledge of privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and their practical application.
• Documented success in leading and managing a team of privacy consultants or professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of conveying complex privacy concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify privacy risks and devise practical solutions.
• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
