Senior Associate Attorney – Labor Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of New York Labor Law litigation, encompassing pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, court appearances, and mediation sessions.

• Conduct research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations to formulate effective defense strategies.

• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, and various legal documents.

• Relay strategic updates to claims representatives and insured clients.

• Monitor billable hours and adhere to invoicing protocols.

• Guide and mentor junior attorneys.

• Work collaboratively with partners on intricate construction issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed attorney in New York.

• Between 4 to 6 years of experience in litigating New York Labor Law cases.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution.

• Proficient understanding of Sections 200, 240(1), and 241(6).

• Familiarity with the construction litigation environment.

• Capable of managing a caseload independently.

• Excellent drafting abilities.

• Experience with motions practice.

• Resides within a commutable distance to Long Island.
