This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement strategies for territory growth aimed at enhancing sales, market share, and customer engagement.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealers, independent door shops, and channel partners.
• Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate new dealer partners to expand the network.
• Drive demand generation and pull-through sales by influencing product specifications, recommendations, and adoption.
• Assist dealer partners in broadening product assortments, boosting sell-through rates, and enhancing business performance.
• Provide product training, solution-oriented selling programs, and education on value propositions.
• Support the launch of new products, promotional initiatives, and premium product programs.
• Collaborate with distribution sales teams and commercial partners to implement coordinated market strategies.
• Partner with Sales Enablement, Channel Marketing, Product Management, and Regional Sales teams.
• Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to manage opportunities, monitor customer activities, and assess performance.
• Monitor market conditions, competitive actions, customer trends, and dealer performance metrics.
• Aid in lead management and opportunity conversion through best practices and diligent follow-up processes.
• Provide dealers with valuable market insights, tools, and resources.
• Conduct business reviews and deliver sales presentations.
• Act as a local market expert and advocate for both customers and Owens Corning.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in direct sales, account management, business development, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Experience in driving sales growth, market development, and customer engagement strategies.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to influence customer decisions through consultative and value-driven selling techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and territory management capabilities.
• Proficiency in analyzing market data, customer trends, and business performance to inform decision-making.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently in a field-based setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with dealers, distributors, channel partners, or independent retail organizations.
• Preferred: Background in building materials, doors, millwork, construction products, or related sectors.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting product launches, promotional campaigns, and market activation efforts.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CRM and lead management tools.
• Preferred: Experience working collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Enablement teams.
• Preferred: Proven success in increasing market share and customer adoption of premium product solutions.
