Senior Architectural CAD Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality, detailed architectural drawings and thorough documentation packages utilizing Revit from the initial concept phase through design development to the final construction stages.

• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, door/window schedules, and complex construction details.

• Ensure accurate and fully coordinated Revit models are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate and integrate architectural documentation with structural, civil, and building services consultants, as well as key project stakeholders.

• Review drawings for precision, graphical consistency, and compliance with regulations; recognize documentation conflicts and address issues proactively.

• Produce high-quality 3D models and realistic visualizations using Lumion.

• Support planning permit applications, building approvals, and submissions to relevant authorities.

• Independently manage assigned workflows across multiple concurrent projects while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Deliver clear and structured progress updates to senior project leaders and management.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of specialized experience in architectural drafting and technical documentation within a professional setting.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit, with a proven portfolio that showcases comprehensive architectural documentation packages from start to finish.

• High-level skills in Lumion for visualization, along with a working knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Strong technical drafting abilities with an in-depth understanding of construction detailing and building systems across residential, multi-residential, and commercial types.

• Solid understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.

• Familiarity with Australian planning and building approval processes.

• Proven experience in supporting architectural projects from initial design through to final site construction documentation.

• Direct experience within an Australian architectural practice is highly preferred or essential.

• Demonstrated expertise in coordinating complex documentation with structural, civil, and MEP/building services engineering disciplines.

• Specific knowledge of Victorian planning requirements and local council approval processes.

• A comprehensive portfolio that displays advanced, detailed Revit documentation sets across various project scales and sectors.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment on when to seek assistance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Outstanding time-management and organizational skills, with the capacity to balance competing priorities across multiple active projects.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding high design and technical standards.
