This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and sustain the organization's IT architecture framework in alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and cutting-edge technologies.
• Act as a hands-on technical architect and subject matter expert in Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, and AI-driven data management platforms.
• Create, implement, and uphold enterprise data architecture standards, canonical data models, metadata frameworks, and governance practices.
• Lead the technical design and configuration of MDM solutions, encompassing data modeling, matching, survivorship, hierarchy management, and integration approaches.
• Evaluate enterprise data quality challenges through data profiling, root cause analysis, quality assessments, and measurement frameworks; establish remediation strategies and business rules.
• Design and enhance enterprise Data Catalog and Metadata Management functionalities, including business glossary, lineage, classification, stewardship, and metadata enrichment.
• Identify and integrate AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation capabilities for data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, metadata enrichment, entity resolution, stewardship workflows, and governance operations.
• Offer technical leadership and guidance to architecture and development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design comprehensive IT solutions incorporating infrastructure, applications, data, and security elements.
• Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Conduct architectural reviews and direct development teams on architectural principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Recognize and alleviate architectural risks and issues.
• Define and keep up-to-date IT architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Remain informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable data products that significantly affect company performance.
• Execute other duties as required or assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in place of educational qualifications.
• 10 years of experience in Enterprise, Business, Information, Systems, Application, and Solution Architectures.
• Extensive expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale IT solutions across various platforms and technologies.
• Practical experience with enterprise data architecture, Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, MDM, or similar data management solutions.
• Experience in implementing data solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their services.
• Proficiency in system integration techniques, including API design, microservices architecture, and message queuing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development, and/or healthcare IT.
