This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain tools, applications, and workflows that facilitate demos, workshops, trials, and internal testing environments.

• Enhance the Demo Architect Portal to boost automation, self-service capabilities, and scalability.

• Provision and support infrastructure for engaging customer experiences across GitLab.com, demo instances, and internal settings.

• Collaborate effectively with Solutions Architects, Account Executives, Customer Success, Marketing, Revenue Operations, UX, and Engineering teams.

• Document go-to-market workflows and automate labor-intensive processes.

• Create technical workshop materials and enablement content for pre-sales and technical selling initiatives.

• Provide guidance on sales opportunities that necessitate specialized technical demo assistance or custom solutions.

• Enhance the presenter experience by minimizing manual setup and streamlining demo workflows.

• Assist internal teams that utilize demo or testing infrastructure.

• Resolve urgent issues in demo/workshop environments and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing software, systems, or internal tools that cater to technical users or business teams.

• Capability to deliver production-quality software and automation with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and thorough documentation.

• Proficiency in navigating both application development and infrastructure, with comfort in provisioning, automation, and service workflows.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across Sales, Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Marketing, UX, and Engineering.

• Understanding of designing and refining solutions for usability and repeatability.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous setting.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for team offsites and in-person planning or whiteboarding sessions.

• Experience with technical demos, workshops, trials, or enablement assets, and/or a desire to learn about the pre-sales context.

• Transferable skills from software engineering, site reliability engineering, systems engineering, solutions architecture, or comparable technical fields.
