Senior Applied AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop dependable production AI products utilizing raw LLM capabilities

• Engage in agent orchestration, context engineering, memory management, retrieval, and evaluation tasks

• Collaborate effectively with software engineers and product teams

• Enhance quality, latency, and cost trade-offs

• Manage the evaluation and guardrails system to ensure reliability and safety

• Oversee the context engineering system

• Detect and implement opportunities for continual improvement of the AI product

• Contribute to the development of lemlist’s AI-native agentic system for prospecting and pipeline generation

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software development or data science, engineering production systems with modern programming languages

• Extensive knowledge of LLM architecture, prompting, context engineering, and vector database workflows

• Practical experience in constructing agentic systems, using orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Agno, Mastra, custom), and conducting evaluations

• Entrepreneurial experience is highly valued

• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset; proactive, resilient, and accountable

• User-focused approach and passion for the real-world impact of AI products

• Strong curiosity about the AI field

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment

• Experience in enhancing agentic coding tool setups (Claude Code, Codex, etc.)
