Senior Applications Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage both cloud-based and on-premises applications

• Conduct technical testing, troubleshooting, analysis, installation, configuration, and maintenance

• Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors

• Offer technical insights on application functionalities, constraints, and prerequisites

• Craft IT solutions utilizing current tools and technologies

• Evaluate compatibility and integration of suggested products and services

• Develop and execute cost-effective, outcome-driven IT application programs and initiatives under direct supervision

• Examine application-system issues, troubleshoot inaccuracies, research corrective measures, and implement modifications

• Mentor junior team members in techniques, processes, and responsibilities

• Establish system-security protocols, monitor access, coordinate setups, and uphold system-operation integrity

• Serve as a technical subject-matter expert

• Identify, research, analyze, and document business requirements

• Assess third-party vendors and software through due diligence and ongoing oversight

• Advocate for and facilitate the standardization of application development, maintenance, and support

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, computer information systems, or a related field

• 4–6 years of experience in a hospital or health information systems setting

• 3–5 years of experience in supporting, maintaining, and implementing software applications

• Basic understanding of problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Basic familiarity with digital literacy skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
