Senior Application Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute application security engagements utilizing generative AI for source code review.

• Collaborate with senior management to strategize and supervise the execution of assessments.

• Support various CrowdStrike Services teams to enhance customers' security posture.

• Guide, manage, and mentor junior red team members during application security engagements centered around source code review.

• Serve as the primary liaison for the coordination and delivery of generative AI-driven source code review projects.

• Enhance, refine, and deliver source code review findings to management and technical stakeholders.

• Record and convey recommendations aimed at improving source code review technologies.

• Arrange resources necessary for conducting source code review engagements.

• Operate as a project manager within penetration testing services, including external penetration tests and web application penetration assessments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Penetration Testing or Application Security activities is strongly preferred.

• Extensive experience in application security with a focus on source code review.

• Proficient in generative AI technologies, particularly their application in source code review processes.

• Advanced expertise with Security Assessment Toolsets (e.g., Nessus, Burp Suite).

• In-depth knowledge of security methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

• Strong background in automating and scripting for applications and systems.

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.

• Preferred certifications: OSWE, OSWA, GWAPT.

• Occasional travel may be necessary (<25%).

• Must possess effective communication skills for interactions with all levels of the organization (executive leadership and technical support teams) at CrowdStrike.

• Candidates may be required to undergo and successfully pass alcohol and/or drug tests during their employment.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required, as indicated by the U.S.-specific posting, E-Verify participation, and Right to Work information.
