This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage complex or exception-based applications independently, from intake to approval.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, including workflow redesign, documentation updates, and automation possibilities.
• Analyze and validate detailed documentation, including income, assets, credit, and third-party verifications.
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), defect validation, and operational readiness for technology releases.
• Act as a subject matter expert for processing guidelines, systems, and workflow inquiries from Level 1 agents.
• Collaborate with technical teams on system tools, automation features, and reporting dashboards.
• Conduct root-cause analyses on recurring system or data integrity issues and implement corrective measures.
• Assist in developing business rules for eligibility verification and application routing logic.
• Partner with Program, Compliance, Data, IT, and Customer Support teams.
• Document technical workflows, standard operating procedures, and system guides.
• Lead or assist in internal audits and data quality assessments.
• Provide onboarding assistance, technical training, and process guidance to Level 1 team members.
• Support external vendors as needed.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure processes align with strategic objectives.
• 3–5 years of experience in application processing or equivalent background.
• Proven success and a solid track record in professional and life experiences related to specific job functions, projects, or industries.
• Military service may substitute for professional experience and/or formal educational requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of documentation, underwriting guidelines, or policy frameworks.
• Expertise in reviewing and validating documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• High technical proficiency with internal databases, application processing systems, and decision-support tools.
• Experience in leading or supporting system testing, issue resolution, and process mapping initiatives.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and support cross-functional projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis/reporting tools are preferred.
• A valid driver's license and proof of insurance may be required, depending on job responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds.
