This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and configure business systems, including upgrades and enhancements for designated technology platforms.
• Act as the main support contact for application users.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to applications and across applications.
• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes.
• Develop and test modifications to systems.
• Recognize opportunities for platform performance improvements to facilitate business processes.
• Lead the estimation process for enhancement and support requests.
• Direct workflow design and analyze technical challenges.
• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and implementation teams from software vendors.
• Gain insights into operational needs to enhance business workflows using technology.
• Engage in training sessions and assist end users.
• Offer end-user support through tracking systems.
• Review project and issue progress with project leadership.
• Assign or delegate configuration and other tasks to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.
• Represent the Applications Manager during incident or problem resolutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and colleagues.
• Spearhead internal process design and documentation for ongoing IT enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain communication with project leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.
• Adhere to the company's mission, values, and Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; alternatively, a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.
• Recognized Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.
• Must possess or be able to obtain relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Capability to perform Essential Duties with or without accommodations.
• Preferred: relevant certifications, particularly in Epic Professional Billing.
• Preferred: professional working knowledge in Healthcare or Biotechnology.
• Preferred: familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
• Availability to work during standard business hours and be on-call, including potential nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time.
• Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical working day.
• Capability to work in front of a computer screen and/or engage in typing for roughly 90% of a typical working day.
• Compliance with applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Ability to operate in cross-functional and complex matrix environments.
• Eagerness to learn new software applications and adapt to evolving or unclear situations.
