This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the estimation process for enhancement and support requests.
• Direct the design of workflows, configure and test system modifications, and evaluate technical challenges.
• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.
• Assess the effects of proposed changes and identify opportunities for platform performance and business process improvements.
• Cultivate an understanding of operational requirements to direct organizational workflows.
• Engage in training sessions and support end-users.
• Resolve issues and inquiries.
• Offer end-user assistance through tracking systems.
• Review project and issue progress with project leadership.
• Assign or delegate configuration tasks and other responsibilities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.
• Serve as a delegate for the Applications Manager during incident or problem resolution.
• Guide junior analysts and peers, providing leadership in problem resolution.
• Spearhead internal process design and documentation for ongoing IT enhancements.
• Adhere to and support the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams, communicating with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.
• Uphold the company’s mission and values.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma coupled with 4 years of relevant experience as a substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.
• Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.
• Possess or be able to acquire relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Availability to work during normal business hours and be on-call, with potential evening and weekend obligations.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the working time.
• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Professional working knowledge in Healthcare or Biotechnology.
• Professional working understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
• Preferred applicable certifications, particularly in Epic Professional Billing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in cross-functional and complex matrix environments.
• Capacity to learn new software applications and adjust to evolving needs.
• Proficiency in operating a telephone system, computer keyboard, and printer.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical working day.
• Ability to work at a computer screen and/or type for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
• Ability to comply with relevant personal protective equipment requirements.
