Senior Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and configure business systems, implement upgrades, and enhance assigned technology platforms.

• Act as the main support contact for application end-users, identifying and resolving application and cross-team challenges.

• Conduct impact analysis for requested changes, develop and test system modifications, and pinpoint opportunities for platform performance and workflow enhancements.

• Mentor junior analysts, address inquiries, and delegate tasks to other analysts.

• Lead the estimation process for enhancement or support requests.

• Oversee workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical challenges.

• Collaborate with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Cultivate an understanding of operational requirements and guide organizational workflow direction.

• Engage in training sessions and collaborate with end-users.

• Troubleshoot issues and provide end-user support via tracking systems.

• Review project and issue status with project leadership.

• Assign or delegate configuration tasks and other responsibilities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.

• Serve as a delegate for the Applications Manager in incident or problem resolution.

• Lead the design and documentation of internal processes for continual IT improvement.

• Uphold the company’s mission, values, and Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.

• Travel approximately 5% of working time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions, either as an application analyst or in a project delivery capacity.

• Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or be able to obtain relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of hire.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Proven ability to perform the Essential Duties with or without accommodation.

• Preferred: relevant certifications, particularly Epic Referrals, Epic RTE, or Epic Prelude.

• Preferred: professional working knowledge of Health Care or Biotechnology.

• Preferred: professional working knowledge of agile delivery methodologies.

• Ability to work during regular business hours and be on-call, with the potential for nights and weekends.

• Ability to travel approximately 5% of working time.

• Capable of operating a telephone system, computer keyboard, and printer.

• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for around 5% of a typical working day.

• Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or type for about 90% of a typical working day.

• Ability to adhere to applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
