Senior Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the estimation process for enhancement or support requests.

• Direct the design of workflows, configure and test system modifications, and investigate technical issues.

• Collaborate with business system stakeholders and software vendor implementation teams.

• Discover opportunities to enhance business processes through technological solutions.

• Engage in training sessions and assist end-users.

• Address and resolve problems and inquiries.

• Offer end-user support for issues logged in tracking systems.

• Review project and issue progress with project management.

• Assign or delegate configuration tasks and other responsibilities to Application Analysts or Managed Services team members.

• Act as a representative for the Applications Manager in incident or problem resolution.

• Guide peers and junior analysts, providing leadership in problem-solving.

• Lead the internal design and documentation of processes for ongoing improvement.

• Support and adhere to the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate with project leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.

• Maintain regular business hours and be available for on-call shifts, including possible nights and weekends.

• Travel about 5% of working time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or a high school diploma/general education diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing or configuring technology solutions, whether in an application analyst or project delivery capacity.

• Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas, including patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, patient registration, or lab order entry.

• Must possess or be able to obtain relevant Epic software application certification within 8 weeks of employment.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

• Preferred applicable Epic certifications, especially in Epic Cheers, MyChart, and Care Everywhere.

• Experience in configuring business systems software in the life sciences, healthcare, or a related industry is preferred.

• Professional working knowledge in healthcare or biotechnology is preferred.

• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies is preferred.

• Capability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

• Willingness to work regular business hours and be on-call, with the possibility of nights and weekends.

• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of working time.

• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for about 5% of a typical working day.

• Capability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for about 90% of a typical working day.

• Ability to comply with applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
