This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Act as the primary administrator and configuration specialist for CentralReach and potentially other clinical EHR systems.
• Set up users, permissions, templates, workflows, locations, service codes, schedules, and operational settings.
• Convert business, clinical, billing, and compliance needs into scalable system configurations.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders on workflows related to intake, scheduling, authorization management, service delivery, documentation, billing, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for technology optimization, including reporting and metrics, to enhance clinical and functional efficiency.
• Oversee system performance, data integrity, process adoption, usability, consistency, reporting accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
• Resolve complex issues, coordinate with vendor support, and act as an escalation point for internal users and support teams.
• Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, support procedures, training materials, and standard operating processes.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and continuous support for administrative, clinical, billing, and operational users.
• Work with vendors and product teams on roadmaps, releases, platform capabilities, and product-line modifications.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders on integrations, access management, security, reporting, data governance, and broader platform initiatives.
• Lead the standardization and optimization of clinical technology workflows, delivering ongoing value to the organization.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, application administration, platform configuration, business systems support, or a similar technology role.
• Practical experience managing enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, or practice management platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of user access, permissions, workflow configuration, system settings, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and change management.
• Capability to gather requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into effective system configurations and supportable processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of assisting both technical and non-technical users.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data quality, operational consistency, and user adoption.
• Experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, autism services, or multi-site service delivery environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ABA service delivery, clinical documentation, authorization requirements, and billing workflows.
• Experience with acquisitions, reporting, data extraction, remote work, and occasional after-hours support.
• Familiarity with operational and clinical platform workflows such as intake, scheduling, clinical documentation, treatment planning, reporting, claims, or revenue cycle processes.
• Background in system implementations, migrations, integrations, acquisitions, or workflow standardization initiatives.
• Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, access controls, audit readiness, and operational compliance expectations.
• A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• CentralReach training, certification, or proven platform administration experience is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in IT service management, healthcare technology, systems administration, or project/change management are advantageous.
• Ability to sit for extended periods; occasionally stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
