This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Appian.
• Transform intricate business requirements into operational application components.
• Leverage Appian to enhance and automate business processes.
• Effectively communicate solutions with business stakeholders, IT professionals, and developers.
• Collaborate with clients to grasp business requirements and deliver Appian solutions.
• Architect and implement sophisticated business processes utilizing Appian.
• Construct, test, and maintain intelligent automation solutions with Appian.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Apply best practices for Appian development and integration.
• Create and maintain Appian plug-ins and interfaces.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and user manuals.
• Engage in code review processes.
• Offer technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Contribute to thought leadership on the platform, including the ideation and design of new accelerators.
• Stay updated on new product releases and technical capabilities from Appian's product updates and acquisitions.
• Participate in developing concepts and methodologies to enhance people, procedures, and IT solutions.
• Foster an environment where technology and personnel can thrive together.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance.
• Candidates must secure approved clearance adjudication before onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience, including at least three (3) years in Appian development.
• Current Appian Senior Developer certifications are required.
• Capability to achieve additional relevant certifications upon employment.
• Extensive knowledge of the Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, etc.
• Experience in Java, SQL, and web services.
• Strong understanding of Appian development best practices.
• Proficiency in relational database architecture, management, and scripting.
• Ability to design business processes and integrate them across various systems, adhering to best practices.
• Solid knowledge of Java and web technologies.
• Must be available to work during Eastern Standard Hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
