Senior Android Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain the native Android application utilizing Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to review requirements, propose solutions, and estimate efforts.

• Ensure the mobile application is user-friendly, efficient, and adaptable to various screen sizes and device models.

• Optimize the application for peak speed, stability, and scalability.

• Implement authentication, session management, and secure data storage adhering to enterprise security standards.

• Develop location-based features and location-triggered push notifications.

• Investigate and resolve production issues, including crash analysis, root cause assessment, and hotfix implementation.

• Establish app monitoring and analytics.

• Facilitate app localization in multiple languages and support for accessibility.

• Write and maintain unit and UI test cases, contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

• Take ownership of features and modules from start to finish, review peers' code against team standards, and engage in technical design discussions.

• Update the internal knowledge base and operational documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

• Proficient in implementing location services and push notifications.

• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management, and secure credential storage.

• Familiarity with integrating third-party libraries.

• Practical experience in writing and maintaining unit and UI tests.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Scrum methodologies.

• Proficient in Jira and Confluence.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a dedication to continuous learning.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level, as it will be the working language with the client.
