Senior Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and deliver Android functionalities focused on rewards discovery and shoppable content.

• Create experiences for browsing and saving offers, while linking purchases back to Fetch.

• Integrate with partner APIs and marketing technology systems to ensure accurate attribution of rewards.

• Enhance the shoppability flows for optimized performance and user-friendliness.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to advance offer discovery and activation.

• Track and enhance engagement metrics, user adoption rates, and rewards redemption.

• Partner with backend, data, and marketing technology teams for integrations and e-commerce functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in developing and launching Android applications.

• Proficient understanding of Android fundamentals and contemporary tools/libraries, including Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Compose.

• Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing.

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger.

• Practical experience with Room or similar local persistence solutions.

• Capability to contribute to architecture, modularization, and component design within a large codebase.

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric features.

• Strong skills in debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to align technical initiatives with product objectives.

• Experience in team-based development settings.

• Ability to navigate uncertainty, propose actionable solutions, and drive results.

• An AI-forward mindset with a willingness to investigate tools that enhance engineering efficiency.
