Senior Android Developer – AdTech SDKs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain native Android SDKs utilized in production settings

• Implement new features for the SDK and refine existing functionalities

• Ensure the stability of the SDK, maintain backward compatibility, and uphold release quality

• Design and support the architecture, packaging, versioning, and release processes of the SDK

• Maintain distribution pipelines for Maven and Gradle

• Create and manage automated and device-based testing solutions

• Investigate and address SDK defects, integration challenges, and issues reported by publishers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance SDK reliability and performance

• Engage in release planning, validation, and quality assurance activities

• Provide support to external publishers during SDK integration and troubleshooting

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional Android development experience

• Strong commercial proficiency in Kotlin and Java

• Demonstrated experience in developing native Android SDKs or libraries

• In-depth understanding of Android SDK architecture and lifecycle

• Hands-on experience with SDK packaging and distribution tools, including Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins

• Experience in versioning, release management, and dependency management

• Practical knowledge of automated testing and device-based testing methods

• Strong emphasis on software quality and production reliability

• Experience in release-critical environments

• Ability to troubleshoot intricate integration and compatibility issues

• Effective communication skills and the capability to work within a distributed team

• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or above

• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing methodologies and test coverage optimization is a plus

• Understanding of mobile advertising technologies and AdTech ecosystems is advantageous

• Experience with SSP platforms and ad servers is beneficial

• Knowledge of banner and video advertising mechanics is a plus

• Familiarity with tracking beacons and pixel-based analytics is a plus

• Experience in contributing to or maintaining open-source SDKs is a plus

• Experience in supporting third-party publisher integrations is advantageous
