Senior Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of new data models utilizing a modern technology stack.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from various business areas to comprehend requirements and deliver suitable solutions.

• Enhance existing data models to align with the needs of Product and Engineering teams.

• Maintain data governance standards rigorously.

• Provide essential data sources to support the BI and Analytics teams in their projects.

• Work in close partnership with technology and business teams to develop and sustain data assets in Snowflake.

• Ensure that data assets adhere to best practices and support business continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL, including the use of CTEs and window functions.

• Experience in crafting efficient queries, preferably within Snowflake.

• Familiarity with transformation tools, preferably Coalesce.io, with dbt also being relevant.

• Experience in modeling both structured and unstructured data.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally within a start-up or scale-up setting.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with data quality frameworks.

• Knowledge of finance, credit, and related reporting practices.

• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.

• Understanding of testing standards and version control systems.

• Familiarity with orchestration tools.
