Senior Analyst, Value Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in the organization-wide, physician-led Value Analysis initiative.

• Evaluate product functionality and costs throughout the clinical expenditure landscape utilizing data on costs, quality, and patient outcomes.

• Develop and oversee financial expenditure analyses.

• Perform analyses of supply chain operations to pinpoint operational improvements, transformation, and opportunities for savings.

• Construct and interpret spreadsheets, presentations, and other outputs using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

• Evaluate medical and surgical products to uncover savings opportunities.

• Create presentations for clients and internal stakeholders alongside quality deliverables.

• Identify business and technical challenges and devise innovative solutions with the team.

• Conduct research, gather and analyze data, and utilize findings to inform recommendations.

• Participate in assessments, design, implementation, client meetings, observations, data collection, analysis, and operational tactical tasks.

• Counsel clients on supply chain, finance, healthcare, or consulting operations to achieve savings and enhance efficiency.

• Recognize stakeholders and build enduring relationships.

• Discover cost-saving opportunities based on organizational expenditures.

• Measure and document the financial, quality, and service achievements of the Value Analysis process.

• Educate and orient members of the client Value Analysis Team.

• Collaborate with Value Analysis Team Chairs, Champions, multidisciplinary team members, Buyers, Analysts, clinicians, materials management, business analysis colleagues, and leadership.

• Facilitate consensus by presenting analyses of product, service, or equipment impacts.

• Review clinical expenditure landscapes, Spend Advisor, ERP reports, new item reports, and product change requests.

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to fellow analysts.

• Coordinate product evaluations.

• Identify opportunities for utilization and waste reduction.

• Develop meeting agendas, document minutes, create data presentations, and manage project plans.

• Support and oversee implementation strategies throughout the organization.

• Collaborate on contract specifics, costs, market share, and rebate incentives.

• Communicate Value Analysis activities, outcomes, and decisions across the enterprise.

• Support Value Analysis initiatives through the organization’s contract process.

• Keep the team updated on Value Analysis trends, tools, and best practices.

• Expand knowledge of healthcare supply chain subject matter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).

• CVAHP certification.

• Intermediate analytical and financial skills within a consulting firm, in healthcare supply chain, healthcare provider supply chain, or a similar field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

• Access/SQL experience is a plus.

• Proven ability to lead initiatives and demonstrate value from efforts.

• Experience in Business Operations Analysis.

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations Management.

• Expertise in Operational Process Improvements.

• At least 2 years of combined clinical experience in a hospital environment with direct Value Analysis experience in an integrated delivery network or a large system.

• Experience in analyzing healthcare processes to enhance patient outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Capability to remain stationary for extended periods.

• Flexibility to adapt quickly, change priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in operating computer programs and software.

• Effective communication skills in both personal and electronic formats.

• Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and interruptions.

• Capacity to make independent decisions.

• Willingness to travel 21–40% within the US.

• Sedentary physical work requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force.
