Senior Analyst, Trading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily trade activities across various brokers and custodians, keeping an eye on orders and adjusting execution strategies according to market dynamics and order volume.

• Execute large and intricate orders across multiple product lines utilizing algorithmic trading tools and established execution methods.

• Collaborate with internal teams, brokers, and custodians to manage substantial orders, address execution challenges, and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.

• Detect, investigate, and resolve trade discrepancies and exceptions; monitor recurring issues and suggest system or process modifications.

• Deliver outstanding client service to internal teams by addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and responding to urgent requests.

• Become proficient in multiple trading software systems and provide user support for troubleshooting activities.

• Aid in the rollout and implementation of a new rebalancing system, which includes parallel portfolio rebalances, variance analysis, and communication with vendors.

• Assess and update trading system configurations to improve trading efficiency and accuracy.

• Propose and assist with enhancements to trading processes and systems.

• Participate in projects related to software evaluation, onboarding firms to existing systems, and technology-driven process improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related business discipline is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in trading or financial operations is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management capabilities.

• Outstanding client service and communication abilities.

• Strong technological aptitude and the ability to adapt swiftly to changes.

• Solid decision-making and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with rebalancing or trading order management systems (OMS), such as Charles River, Orion Advisor Services, Envestnet Tamarac, RedBlack, or other similar systems.

• Proficiency in Excel is required.

• Experience with VBA is preferred.
