Senior Analyst – SAR, CTR Filing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Accurately prepare and electronically file SARs and CTRs with FinCEN while adhering to regulatory deadlines.

• Compose SAR narratives to an examiner-ready standard, utilizing the OCC five-element documentation baseline and the Knowledgeable Third-Party Standard.

• Conduct ongoing activity reviews and submit continuing-activity SARs on a 90-day cycle based on originally filed reports.

• Validate CTR data, manage applicable exemptions, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of filings.

• Maintain filing logs and tracking systems, along with evidence to support audit and examination requests.

• Collaborate with Cases and Complex Investigations regarding SARs arising from investigations and escalations from external consultants.

• Identify trends in SAR filings and patterns in continuing activities; report findings to the SAR Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

• CAMS certification preferred; if not currently held, candidates are expected to obtain it within 12 months of hire.

• 3–5 years of experience in SAR drafting, CTR filing, or BSA/AML investigations.

• Practical experience with FinCEN BSA E-Filing and case management systems.

• Familiarity with SAR/CTR thresholds, continuing activity requirements, and FinCEN guidance.

• Exceptional narrative writing skills and accuracy in regulatory filings.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Knowledge of SAR/CTR requirements and ongoing activity monitoring.

• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and SharePoint.

• Team-oriented with a focus on quality.
