This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.
β’ Oversee the preparation and submission of Oscar's certificates of authority through regular filings for designated states and regions, acting as a consultant to cross-functional teams.
β’ Create sustainable processes for internal tracking and monitoring of annual and ad hoc filings with various teams, which includes maintaining a repository of prior objections to reduce year-over-year objection totals.
β’ Monitor and communicate any filing objections received, guiding the resolution process alongside affected teams.
β’ Serve as the subject matter expert on designated states and aid in the development of a repository of internal procedural guides on annual filing requirements to assist teams and preserve institutional knowledge.
β’ Foster and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities, including state insurance regulators.
β’ Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Manage projects and support specific tasks to guarantee adherence to federal and state certificate of authority and product filing requirements.
β’ Collaborate with internal Oscar teams and engage with external regulators.
β’ Report to the Manager, Risk Adjustment Retrospective.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of licensing experience in the health plan or managed care sector.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in designing and enhancing workflows.
β’ A bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
β’ Proven project management capabilities.
β’ Knowledge of ACA marketplace plans, including relevant rules and regulations.
β’ Over 1 year of experience with SERFF and/or network data analysis.
