Senior Analyst, Protective Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Direct the analytical operations of DoorDash's Protective Intelligence initiative.

• Execute intricate investigations into threats, suspicious behavior, and insider risks utilizing OSINT, behavioral analysis, and structured case management techniques.

• Manage the entire investigative process from initial intake to final disposition.

• Generate case packages that support law enforcement referrals, platform actions, and executive protection decisions.

• Analyze complex information, differentiate credible threats from irrelevant noise, categorize risk levels, and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Perform behavioral threat assessments employing WAVR-21 and other structured professional judgment frameworks.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to assess detection pipeline outputs, pinpoint coverage gaps, and enhance detection logic and case routing.

• Comprehend data schemas and interpret query outputs without the need to build or maintain production infrastructure.

• Create executive intelligence reports, travel risk assessments, event security briefings, geopolitical updates, and strategic global intelligence products.

• Convert intricate findings into clear products suitable for CISO- and Board-level audiences.

• Collaborate with Executive Protection and Physical Security on protective operations, executive travel, residential security, event planning, and site security evaluations.

• Track geopolitical changes, civil unrest, criminal activities, narratives, protest formations, online threats, and emerging risks.

• Enhance investigative techniques, reporting standards, AI-driven workflows, and intelligence collection methods.

• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging analytical tools and technologies.

• Mentor, coach, and review the work of junior analysts.

• Establish uniform analytical standards, investigative rigor, and intelligence tradecraft.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in protective intelligence, intelligence analysis, investigations, executive protection intelligence, corporate security, government intelligence, military intelligence, law enforcement intelligence, or a related field.

• Proficient in synthesizing complex information, evaluating incomplete or conflicting intelligence, assessing credibility, and clearly communicating defensible risk assessments.

• Ability to understand structured data organization, interpret query outputs, and evaluate data schemas and detection logic.

• Comfortable using AI-driven research and analytical workflow tools.

• Proven experience in producing executive briefings, strategic intelligence reports, travel assessments, investigative summaries, and risk assessments for senior leadership.

• Extensive background in conducting complex investigations related to online threats, concerning communications, insider risks, executive protection matters, or significant security issues.

• Experience in researching geopolitical developments, regional security risks, criminal trends, travel threats, or similar intelligence topics.

• Skilled in conducting structured behavioral threat assessments using professional judgment methodologies.

• Strong capabilities in OSINT research.

• Familiarity with intelligence platforms, commercial databases, social media investigations, mapping tools, monitoring technologies, or AI-supported analytical workflows.

• Experience in mentoring analysts, reviewing intelligence products, enhancing investigative methodologies, and developing an intelligence function.

• Ability to handle highly sensitive information, maintain strict confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• An advanced degree or professional certification in intelligence analysis, security management, or a related discipline is preferred.
