This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee procurement activities that support various programs within the Product Support sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and manage subcontracts throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Participate in supplier performance evaluation, relationship management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Facilitate intricate business agreements that support diverse contracts.
• Act as the primary communication point between Raytheon programs and suppliers.
• Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotations/Proposals.
• Conduct price and cost analyses and lead formal negotiations regarding pricing, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions.
• Issue purchase orders and related change orders.
• Generate purchase orders and documentation in compliance with company policies, prime contract requirements, and work instructions.
• Manage purchase orders post-award, adhering to company guidelines and operational instructions.
• Address medium-complexity issues and conflicts while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and corporate standards.
• Collaborate with Program and functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Engineering.
• Cultivate relationships with primary subcontractors.
• Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support during gate reviews.
• Travel as necessary.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.
• Familiarity with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export regulations.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens can access information related to this program/contract.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
• Experience with proposals and all aspects of sourcing and procurement execution.
• Proven experience leading formal negotiations.
• Background in supplier management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, engineering documents, and complex Statements of Work.
• Experience with Price/Cost Analysis.
• Proficient in automation and SAP purchasing tools.
• Excellent communication skills along with strong time management abilities.
• Capacity to adapt and demonstrate leadership presence.
• Ability to make timely decisions, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
