Senior Analyst, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate drawings, specifications, and purchasing history to establish sourcing strategies.

• Prepare and distribute requests for quotations/proposals (RFQs/RFPs) and assess supplier feedback.

• Conduct price and cost analysis to aid procurement decisions.

• Formulate strategies and lead formal negotiations regarding price, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions.

• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, internal teams, and suppliers.

• Place and oversee medium- to high-complexity purchase orders.

• Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), as well as corporate policies and procedures.

• Manage supplier performance against key metrics and ensure prompt delivery.

• Act as the escalation point for procurement-related stakeholder issues.

• Support the organization's goals and program objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.

• Experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership positions.

• Familiarity with a SAP-based environment.

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations is required.

• U.S. citizenship is necessary to access information related to this program/contract.

• Experience with the technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including reviews of statements of work (SOW).

• Proven experience leading formal negotiations on price, schedule, and contract stipulations.

• Experience in conducting price and cost analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance, or a STEM field.

• Proficient knowledge of supply chain systems and SAP purchasing tools.

• Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry.

• Knowledge of supplier management within a matrix environment.

• Excellent presentation skills and keen attention to detail.
