This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Identify suitable suppliers for requirements, making full use of existing agreements;

• Oversee the purchase order placement process from requisition to invoice payment for assigned commodities within the Indirect team;

• Gather price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery to support commodity supplier and cost strategies;

• Evaluate supplier quotes and make informed sourcing recommendations;

• Ensure timely delivery of products according to schedule;

• Initiate negotiations with suppliers regarding price, lead time, and terms & conditions;

• Complete purchase order documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures;

• Ensure prompt placement of orders to support business needs and meet team-defined turnaround times;

• Possess strong communication skills to interact with requisitioners and other functional groups;

• Ability to work as a team member independently based on additional projects assigned to support the Supply Chain organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• At least 1 year of experience using SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement setting, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX, or PRISM.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
