This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, scheduling, and terms & conditions.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, RTX policies, and export/import regulations.
• Review Statements of Work and create PIAs/NDAs.
• Manage activities related to proposals and quotations, as well as documentation and compliance packages.
• Identify, evaluate, and conduct due diligence on suppliers; seek alternative suppliers when necessary.
• Conduct cost, pricing, and best-value analyses to inform sourcing decisions.
• Oversee supplier performance post-award in accordance with business unit objectives.
• Foster supplier engagement to achieve key program milestones.
• Balance strategic planning with everyday tactical execution.
• Collaborate across functions with EXIM, Legal, and senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
• Knowledge of and experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance, Public Laws, Policies, FAR/DFARS, and ITAR.
• Proven experience in negotiating terms and conditions.
• U.S. Person status or eligibility to secure necessary export authorizations.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory to access information pertaining to this program/contract.
• Preferred experience using SAP procurement software tools such as PRISM and APEX.
• Preferred experience in managing purchase orders, documentation, and contract negotiations.
• Experience in supplier negotiations concerning pricing, schedules, and terms & conditions.
• Ability to carry out and understand price analyses and source selection/justification.
• Proficiency in RTX supply chain systems and SAP PRISM purchasing tools.
• Capacity to engage with senior management, cross-functional teams, and program leaders.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, adaptability, and leadership presence.
• Ability to make prompt decisions, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in negotiating terms and conditions and mentoring others in negotiation techniques.
