This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the ongoing financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis related to Operations and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Take ownership of the monthly Operations and COGS reporting packages, which includes preparation, validation, and dissemination.
• Create reporting packages and conduct variance analysis concerning material costs, manufacturing expenses, site performance, product mix, and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Operations teams to analyze material variances and clarify financial outcomes.
• Generate commentary that describes performance in relation to budget, forecasts, and previous periods.
• Manage reporting schedules, reconciliations, and relevant documentation.
• Identify areas for automation and standardization in recurring reporting processes.
• Maintain tools to track productivity initiatives, realized savings, project timelines, and forecast consequences.
• Confirm assumptions and revise financial impacts in coordination with project owners.
• Reconcile productivity outcomes across project tracking, forecasts, and actual financial results.
• Identify risks, timing discrepancies, and gaps in productivity projects.
• Facilitate reporting that enhances visibility into the productivity pipeline.
• Assist in financial planning by providing analyses and insights that enhance COGS visibility and precision.
• Integrate operational projects within financial models and planning frameworks.
• Help with forecasts related to commodity costs, production performance, co-manufacturing expenses, and other COGS influencers.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for operational decision-making and financial evaluations.
• Cultivate relationships across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Aid in cost analysis for operational projects and business cases.
• Create dashboards and analytical tools that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and usability of reporting.
• Report to the Associate, Operations Finance.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, accounting, or a related quantitative discipline.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is mandatory.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Expertise in financial modeling.
• Familiarity with Netsuite, BI, CRM, and financial planning applications is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with relationship management proficiencies.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer products is a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
