This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Prepare monthly journal entries related to revenue and reconcile ledger accounts utilizing Excel models and the GTN software suite.
• Conduct true-ups based on actual figures versus accrued contra-revenue GTN deduction items.
• Reconcile actual transaction data with corresponding accrual assumptions.
• Analyze and summarize variances from gross-to-net, escalating any complex or unclear discrepancies.
• Notify customers about potential changes that may impact their business.
• Monitor, maintain, and report on operational metrics monthly and quarterly.
• Maintain consistent professional communication with customer contacts.
• Adhere to internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SOC1 and customer SLAs.
• Deliver quality outputs on time while managing both internal and external expectations.
• Execute and uphold GTN data and calculations within the GTN software suite.
• Carry out ongoing maintenance and report any deficiencies through established channels.
• Analyze and resolve customer issues, providing guidance on complex matters.
• Anticipate changing customer needs and proactively raise concerns.
• Develop relationships with customer IT, operations, and finance teams.
• Collaborate with the GTN Advisory team on data analysis, customer issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Support cross-functional business teams and shared service objectives.
• Attend customer, departmental, and company meetings.
• Assist in the onboarding of new Analysts by sharing insights on workflow, systems, and customer knowledge.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles regarding revenue recognition and gross-to-net accounting practices.
• Emerging knowledge of the pharmaceutical supply chain and contracting, including direct sales, chargebacks, rebates, and copay data.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient oral, written, listening, presentation, communication, and influencing abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and prioritize according to team and project objectives.
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to seek clarification when requirements are not clear.
• Ability to follow processes and controls for routine internal/external audits.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry.
• Accounting experience from the customer side or a consultancy is advantageous.
• Familiarity or user experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or forecasting tools is a plus.
