Senior Analyst, Enterprise Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define ambiguous business challenges and develop analytical strategies.

• Provide actionable, decision-ready analytical solutions.

• Address conflicting metric definitions and create a unified business vocabulary.

• Design and manage semantic models and reporting structures across various departments.

• Integrate data from CRM, ERP, marketing platforms, and ad hoc sources.

• Create and sustain enterprise-level dashboards.

• Document analyses and metric logic to ensure long-term maintainability.

• Establish standards for constructing and reusing analytical work.

• Mentor analysts and empower self-service users to develop robust data products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, or data-centric roles, with responsibility for analytics outputs from initial framing to delivery.

• Advanced hands-on expertise with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar platforms.

• Proficient in complex query execution and performance optimization on a cloud platform; Azure preferred and relevant experience with AWS.

• Proficient in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.

• Experience in designing and maintaining semantic models or metric layers catering to diverse audiences.

• Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts including star schemas and slowly changing dimensions.

• Familiarity with applying version control, code review, modularity, and documentation to analytical tasks.

• Experience reconciling data from CRM, ERP, and marketing platforms.

• Background in developing data validation checks.

• Capable of transforming vague requests from senior stakeholders into well-defined projects and conveying results effectively.

• Experience in mentoring others or defining standards.

• A Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
