Senior Analyst, Costing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Oversee and develop costing operations for seasonal product innovations across VF's various brands, products, and regions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in sourcing development, product sourcing, brands, materials, planning, and vendors.

• Modernize and standardize costing methodologies by implementing consistent, data-driven, automated, and efficient processes.

• Assist in designing products within budget constraints and achieving cost savings on products.

• Promote connectivity and facilitate information exchange among vendors and cross-functional partners.

• Manage key milestones and activities related to seasonal development costing.

• Lead negotiations with vendors using data-driven costing methods and product engineering to enhance profitability.

• Provide insights on FOB and landed costing to aid in vendor allocation and sourcing strategies.

• Ensure compliance with costing processes among operations teams and vendors.

• Monitor and report on essential metrics tied to performance, efficiency, and transparency.

• Participate in and lead cross-functional initiatives, performing analyses and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

• Enhance costing productivity and efficiency by removing redundancies, automating repetitive tasks, and refining processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in industrial garment manufacturing, buying offices, or trading companies.

• Capability to comprehend technical specifications, Bills of Materials, and garment constructions.

• Familiarity with fabric weaving, constructions, and various dyeing processes is advantageous.

• Knowledge of embellishments such as print techniques, embroidery, and quilting is a plus.

• Experience with sweater knits and accessories is beneficial.

• Ability to influence others and foster consensus.

• Experience in change management, business process redesign, or process reengineering.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and reasoning capabilities.

• Willingness to learn and embrace new methods, tools, and technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication skills: diplomatic, open, a good listener, direct, and concise.

• Proficient in both oral and written English.

• Proven accountability, partnership with stakeholders, leadership, strategic and innovative thinking, and ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
