Senior Analyst, Costing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

📋 Description

• Oversee and develop costing operations for seasonal product development across VF brands, various products, and multiple countries.

• Collaborate with sourcing development teams, brand stakeholders, product sourcing groups, and vendors to innovate and standardize costing methodologies.

• Facilitate data-driven, automated, efficient, harmonized, and scalable costing processes.

• Work alongside product sourcing and development teams to design products with cost efficiency in mind and achieve savings in product costs.

• Advocate for connectivity and the exchange of information among vendors and cross-functional teams including sourcing, branding, materials, and planning stakeholders.

• Manage the milestones and activities related to seasonal development costing.

• Spearhead vendor negotiations utilizing fact-based costing methods and product engineering to enhance profitability.

• Offer FOB and landed costing insights to support vendor allocation and sourcing strategies.

• Ensure compliance with costing processes across teams and vendors involved in costing operations.

• Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to efficiency, performance, and transparency.

• Exhibit leadership while promoting collaboration, performance, and partnership throughout the product supply organization.

• Enhance costing productivity and efficiency by removing redundancies, automating repetitive tasks, and optimizing processes.

• Lead and engage in cross-functional projects while conducting analyses and producing deliverables in a fast-paced setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in industrial garment manufacturing, a buying office, or a trading company.

• Capability to comprehend technical specifications, Bills of Materials, and garment constructions.

• Familiarity with fabric weaving, constructions, and various dyeing processes is beneficial.

• Understanding of embellishments, including print techniques, embroidery, and quilting, is an advantage.

• Experience in sweater knits and accessories is a plus.

• Ability to influence others and cultivate consensus.

• Experience in embracing change, business process redesign, or process reengineering.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and reasoning abilities.

• Willingness to learn and adopt new methods, tools, and technologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Effective communication skills: diplomatic, open, attentive listener, direct, and concise.

• Proficient in both oral and written English.
