This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assess and implement growth strategies through acquisitions, partnerships with physicians, joint ventures, and new market developments.
• Create, sustain, and enhance financial models and valuation analyses utilizing DCF, NPV, IRR, precedent transactions, and trading comparables.
• Analyze project economics across various operational, reimbursement, and volume scenarios while identifying potential risks.
• Maintain consistent financial modeling templates, valuation frameworks, and ramp assumptions.
• Provide support for multidisciplinary financial, legal, operational, HR, and strategic due diligence processes.
• Design pitch decks and presentation materials for prospective acquisition targets, physician groups, and health system joint venture collaborators.
• Monitor acquisition and new market expansion pipelines and perform market and target research.
• Keep open-item logs and manage virtual data rooms throughout transaction assessments.
• Assist with structuring deals, verifying financial schedules, and gathering necessary documentation.
• Conduct market and referral analyses in collaboration with Operations and Sales teams.
• Develop volume capture models and ramp assumptions to prioritize new expansion opportunities.
• Keep track of industry trends, competitor activities, and demand for service lines.
• Prepare investment memoranda, business cases, pipeline updates, and executive presentations.
• Monitor transaction and new market performance against investment thesis models.
• Aid in post-merger integration transitions and milestone tracking.
• Maintain business development analytics and create dashboards to support executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external advisors.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related business discipline is required.
• 3 to 6 years of pertinent experience in Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, M&A, or Business Development.
• Proven experience in supporting healthcare transactions, financial assessments, or new site development from analysis to closure.
• Advanced skills in Excel are necessary.
• Expertise in 3-statement financial modeling is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of valuation techniques, including DCF, IRR, and comparable-company analysis.
• A solid understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, outpatient service models, and reimbursement dynamics is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across various functions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in creating impactful presentations for leadership audiences.
• Must exercise strict discretion regarding confidential information.
