Senior AI/LLM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Quickly prototype and implement AI-driven features to enhance search capabilities, improve recommendations, and automate workflows across the Censys Platform.

• Utilize machine learning to optimize workflows, personalize user experiences, and reveal essential insights.

• Create and refine LLMs and RAG pipelines to analyze Internet-scale data, summarize results, and provide context-aware insights.

• Construct, scale, and sustain AI-driven analytics and automation systems that enable users to make quicker, data-informed decisions.

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and data engineering teams to integrate AI-native experiences that are seamless, intuitive, and secure.

• Regularly assess and enhance model performance using RAGAS, LangSmith, and automated regression testing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on building and scaling AI-powered user-facing features.

• Strong expertise in Python for backend and API services development.

• Familiarity with RAG evaluation frameworks (such as RAGAS and LangSmith) and the design of regression testing for LLM pipelines.

• Capacity to quickly prototype, validate, and enhance AI features in a dynamic, experiment-driven setting.

• Prior experience in prompt engineering to improve LLM accuracy, reasoning, and consistency.

• Knowledge of secure and responsible AI practices, implementing safeguards and safety measures to prevent misuse or data exposure.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and deployment best practices for AI applications.

• Strong ability to collaborate across teams.

• Advanced understanding of AI/ML architectures, model evaluation, and applied deep learning.

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, and LLM fine-tuning.

• Familiarity with embedding models and AI-driven analytics.

• Proven capability to optimize AI models for low-latency, real-time interactions in browser or frontend environments.

• Experience in deploying secure AI systems within cybersecurity or other sensitive data sectors.
