Generative AI Engineer, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI) to facilitate AI agents and automation, adhering to clean-code principles and platform engineering best practices.

• Design and test tools and skills for intelligent agents.

• Integrate APIs to enhance the capabilities of automated audit scanning, encompassing system logs, Jira, and messaging platforms.

• Create frontend interfaces for chatbots and conversational feedback portals utilized by auditors, leveraging Streamlit.

• Write scripts for data extraction, processing, and consolidation using Python (Pandas) and SQL.

• Maintain ongoing audit metrics and agent memory.

• Construct and manage real-time monitoring dashboards with Grafana.

• Design automated workflows to minimize manual tasks.

• Assist in executing and performing corrective maintenance on existing analytical tests.

• Process datasets to facilitate timely inspections by audit teams.

• Collaborate with AI architects and engineers to create modern cloud solutions for Internal Audit.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience as a Software Developer (backend or full-stack) or Data Analyst focused on automation.

• In-depth knowledge of Python, with hands-on experience in developing APIs (preferably FastAPI), utilizing data libraries (Pandas), and implementing robust code-structuring practices.

• Previous involvement in Generative AI projects, encompassing LangChain, RAG development, or prompt engineering.

• Expertise in writing SQL queries for retrieving, joining, and processing data in relational and analytical databases.

• Experience in building data interfaces and visual prototypes with Streamlit.

• Familiarity with using, securing, and consuming REST APIs and web services in general.

• Experience with real-time monitoring and observability dashboards, such as Grafana.

• Knowledge of code version control using Git and adherence to technical documentation best practices.

• Strong collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn new technologies under the mentorship of senior team members.

• Initiative in identifying bottlenecks in manual processes and suggesting automation solutions.

• Organized and dedicated to documenting workflows, tables, and automation logic developed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, particularly GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Run, or Cloud Functions; basic knowledge of document-oriented NoSQL databases like Firestore; basic understanding of Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
