Conversational AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Evaluate customer workflows to identify opportunities for automation and choose appropriate platforms.

• Create solution designs for voice and chatbot implementations.

• Assess and communicate the technical feasibility, effort, and associated risks.

• Configure and develop voice and chatbots using leading Conversational AI platforms.

• Design, test, and refine prompts and dialogue flows.

• Conduct quality assurance and continually enhance bot performance.

• Integrate interfaces with customer systems, including APIs and data workflows.

• Execute technical solutions utilizing JavaScript and Python.

• Oversee projects from start to finish, including technology assessment, configuration, and deployment.

• Manage project administration and communication with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with customer IT teams for system integration.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation that details configurations, interfaces, and prompt libraries.

• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience as a Conversational AI Engineer, Solution Engineer, Technical Consultant, or in a similar position.

• Demonstrated project experience in implementing voice or chatbots on leading platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of configuration and prompt engineering on Conversational AI platforms.

• Proficient programming skills in JavaScript and Python.

• Experience with API integration and system architecture.

• Capability to evaluate automation potential within customer processes.

• Strong project management and technical documentation capabilities.

• Experience in the customer experience (CX) domain is advantageous.

• Proficient in German at C1 level is mandatory.

• English at B2 level is preferred.

• Strong technical aptitude along with a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.

• Quick adaptability to new technologies.

• Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and effective manner.

• Capacity to work independently and maintain resilience throughout project phases.

• An updated résumé and cover letter in German, in PDF format, are required.
