Senior AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver production-ready AI-driven products that incorporate LLM functionalities, RAG, and agentic workflows.

• Choose models, orchestrate prompts, design systems, and implement AI tools such as LangGraph and Langfuse.

• Create evaluation, monitoring, and observability processes to ensure reliability and readiness for production.

• Build scalable, event-driven microservices and APIs utilizing Node.js and TypeScript.

• Construct modern, responsive React frontends that support customer workflows.

• Design cloud-native architectures on AWS, including services like Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, and RDS.

• Implement microservices, distributed-system principles, and operational controls tailored for financial products.

• Emphasize clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence in all development processes.

• Analyze and enhance production reliability, latency, cost, and the quality of AI outputs.

• Guide engineers, aid in team development, and work alongside product and engineering teams to deliver customer-ready features.

• Take ownership of features throughout the entire lifecycle, from selection and implementation to deployment, observability, and iteration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven software engineering experience in building, deploying, and managing production LLM/AI applications.

• Strong practical knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and production-level React.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, agentic workflows, RAG, and LLM integration.

• Understanding of AI evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and observability practices.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS, cloud-native engineering, APIs, and integration methodologies.

• Experience with microservices, messaging patterns, event-driven, and distributed architectures.

• Commitment to maintaining high quality, clean code, rigorous testing, and operational excellence.

• Experience with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.

• Familiarity with LangGraph, Langfuse, or other tools for AI orchestration and observability.

• Knowledge of AI implementation in regulated or high-trust environments, particularly in financial services.

• Systematic approach to evaluating LLM outputs and agentic workflows.

• Experience in delivering agentic systems in a production environment.

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Must reside in the United Kingdom and be legally authorized to work there.
