Senior AI Engineer, Product Neuro Forge Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of AI/ML features from initial research and prototyping to production, monitoring, and iterative enhancements.

• Design and implement LLM-powered functionalities utilizing reviews and ratings data, encompassing categorization, summarization, reply generation, semantic search, anomaly detection, conversational contexts, and agentic scenarios.

• Collaborate with commercial LLM APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, as well as open-source models including Llama, Mistral, and Qwen.

• Choose, adapt, fine-tune, and deploy various models.

• Create and maintain pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and quality evaluation.

• Generate datasets, metrics, offline evaluations, LLM-as-a-judge processes, and conduct A/B tests.

• Develop RAG and semantic search functionalities with embeddings and vector storage.

• Enhance the quality, latency, and cost of production LLM inference.

• Monitor cutting-edge NLP/LLM advancements, perform experiments and proofs of concept, and translate successful outcomes into product features.

• Work in collaboration with backend, product, and platform teams.

• Contribute to the overall architecture of the system.

• Write efficient, testable, secure, and well-documented code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• Proficient in production-level Python, including asyncio.

• More than 3 years of direct ML/NLP experience with models deployed in production.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning open-source models utilizing LoRA/PEFT.

• Familiarity with commercial LLM APIs and self-hosted models.

• Experience in establishing model quality evaluation processes, including metrics, evaluation datasets, pipelines, and A/B testing.

• Strong command of PyTorch and the Hugging Face ecosystem, encompassing transformers, datasets, and PEFT.

• Proficient in FastAPI for API development.

• Solid SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Experience with ORM frameworks, preferably SQLAlchemy.

• Knowledge of unit testing using pytest.

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher.
