Senior AI Engineer – Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of member- and credit-union-facing features from conception to production, designing pragmatic solutions to accommodate increasing traffic and data volume.

• Develop across the TypeScript stack, utilizing technologies such as React, React Router, Tailwind CSS, Hono, Drizzle/Postgres, and AWS infrastructure managed via SST/Pulumi.

• Transform product requirements into straightforward, dependable experiences and integrations.

• Oversee production, troubleshoot issues, and enhance delivered products.

• Collaborate with design teams, customers, and stakeholders to make effective product decisions.

• Leverage AI coding agents, refine their capabilities, and contribute to shaping AI-native product engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building, scaling, and managing production software.

• Proficient full-stack competencies, particularly in modern front-end development and typed backend systems.

• Proven experience in creating reliable products using React and relational data.

• Familiarity with integrating third-party and public APIs, including OpenAI or Anthropic Claude.

• Current, hands-on experience with AI coding tools and the ability to evaluate their outputs.

• Strong product judgment, effective written communication, and a preference for simple solutions.

• Independence to take charge of outcomes while knowing when to involve others.

• Required or directly relevant experience with TypeScript, React, relational databases, AWS, or infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Relevant development and testing experience with Bun, Vitest, and Playwright.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the application will inquire about future sponsorship needs.
